BUSY Time of year

Sorry I haven't had a chance to make any rag quilt purse or even update my blog. This time of year is very busy with getting the garden taken care of.Been making jams and canning salsa, tomatoes, chili,spagetti sauce. Then on top of that had tons of company come in for the past month. But as soon as the garden is done I will make some more rag quilt purse and maybe even make some rag quilt 's too.
Make sure you check out all the items I have listed on EBAY, many of the items I have right now you can buy and resell and make some money. Yellow with White Polka Dots Seersucker Pillowcase Dress's

The top pillowcase dress is made with a yellow and white polka dot seersucker fabric trimmed with a bright lime green for the ties and hem. I also added a pink flower at the top and the hem has a decorative stitching all the way around.Super cute spring and summer colors and the seersucker fabric is very breathable and cool.This handmade one of a kind dress will fit a size 18 - 24 mos. and of course will be able to be used as a top later on when she gets taller.This dress will be soon listed on EBAY so keep checking in to see what else I come up with.

The second pillowcase styled handmade dress is made with the same seersucker fabric but the ties are made with Springs Creative Fabric " Peony's Garden ( so pretty). I have more of this fabric listed on EBAY too if you are interested in fabric.Now for the flounce yes that is called a " flounce" Since the dress is for a " big girl" we have to make hers look more grown up looking and that is just what this flounce does for this handmade dress.It is made with a crinkle black knit so it really has the curl to it. This handmade one of a kind pillowcase styled dress is a size 8-10 with the length being 23 so it would be right at her knees. Can you just see this dress with some legging under it ? I can, so cute.If you have an older child that wants to use this for a top it is very wide through the top so it would fir a 14- 16 easy as a top.This handmade dress will be listed on EBAY soon too.

Iced Daisy's Handmade Dress Size 8-10

This fabric is just so beautiful. The daisy's are a pale pink and blue with a palest of green leaves.I have added a pale green and white gingham check ribbon across the bodice and the bottom is trimmed out with a green and white polka dot swirl fabric.This pillowcase styled dress is a size 8 - 10 in girls.I tried to make this look more like a " grown lady's " dress .I know my daughter who is 5 just loves this dress. In fact she soooo wanted me to let her have it BUT this is the only piece of this fabric I had and I actually got it from my Mother -in-law who is almost 80 now so this is a vintage fabric not longer in print.I always try to make my handmade items one of a kind so you are getting something for your little one that is special just for her.This item will be listed on EBAY soon so keep watching.
